Our Team

Currently a high school senior at Passaic County Technical Institute, Natalia Ramirez has been driven by a deep passion for conservation and the natural world since her earliest years. A dedicated environmental advocate, she has volunteered with City Green's Climate Action Collective, conducted conservation work at Taricaya Eco-Center in the Peruvian Amazon, and pursued her love of ornithology through research and community science. As Executive Manager, Natalia is committed to steering Wayne Grounded into the future during the 2026-2027 school year, bringing both her scientific curiosity and her dedication to community to everything she does. 

Being a high school senior at Passaic County Technical Institute, Treyon is passionate about combining his interests in civil engineering, environmental stewardship, and community service to create a lasting change in his local community. As an Executive Board member of the Wayne Grounded organization, he collaborates on planning restoration projects, promotes sustainable practices, and helps engage the community in preserving and enhancing Wayne's natural ecosystems. 

A rising sophomore at PCTI STEM Academy, Ellen has a passion for learning, shown by her interests in computer science, literature, and the natural world around her. Through combining this passion with a drive for environmental protection, as secretary of Wayne Grounded, she oversees official records, plans coordination in events, and impacts her local community with restoration efforts 

Currently a high school senior at Passaic County Technical Institute, Kasha is passionate about making connections and spreading awareness through photography and social media. Planning on pursuing environmental engineering, Kasha hopes that as Wayne Grounded’s photographer, she can help to promote sustainability, spark environmental passion within younger audiences, and be part of developing a more sustainable future for her community. 

As a rising senior at PCTI STEM Academy, Abdullah shows heavy interest in the intersection between computer science and environment. By finding how both can make the world better, he's dedicated his skills in helping the environmental organizations, like WayneGrounded!

Currently an undergraduate at Cornell studying environmental engineering, Abhinav has felt the call to environmentalism since youth, drafting a petition to ban plastic bags/straws in Wayne at age 12. Inspired by the need to revitalize Wayne’s ecosystems, he joined the Wayne Environmental Commission before co-founding Wayne Grounded. 

Studying enviormental science & police at University of Maryland, Francesca DiGiovanni strives to make a difference in her school and community. She jumpstarted a very successful NexTrex Recycling Program at Wayne Valley High School and helped co-found Wayne Grounded. 

An undergraduate at Boston University, Morgan is passionate about advocating for sustainable environmental practices in Wayne, New Jersey. As former secretary of Wayne Grounded, she documented all plans and projects, mtained membership records, and assisted in coordination with outside organizations to engage the community in efforts to preserve the ecosystem.
